Encyclopedia and Dictionary – APA Reference List
General Tips
- Capitalization: Book title and chapter title – Sentence case.
- State/Country: Include two-letter state code (if U.S.A) or name of country (if not U.S.A.).
- If more than one city of publication is listed in the book you are citing, use the first one listed.
Encyclopedia or Dictionary – Print version
- If there is no author or editor of the entry, as in the last example, place the title in the author position.

- If possible use DOI over URL
- If the electronic version refers to a print version, include the edition number after the title.
