One author

Last name first, followed by a comma and the first name.

• Austen, Jane.

Two to ten authors

The first author’s name is inverted (the last name comes first, followed by a comma and the first name), and all other names are in normal order

• Stein, George, and Ivan Smith.

More than ten authors

Only the first seven need to be fully cited in the bibliography, the rest of the names can be replaced by the phrase "et al."

• Pitcairn, Dayna L., Diane L. Sabo, Clyde G. Smith, Beverly S. Bernard, D. K. Colborn, Howard E. Rockette, et al.
